Spas, Hot Tubs, Jacuzzis And Spa Baths
We now have a full range of Spas at factory direct prices
SPA'S : A jetted pool, including heating and filtration system, which
offers the user hydrotherapy benefit through the action of water jets which
combine water and air, as well as the massaging effect of air bubbles pumped
from the seating area to give the user a relaxing, therapeutic and stimulating
experience. ....and Yeah, they are great fun as well !!!
HOT TUBS : An alternative name for a Spa - generally American - but can
also refer to the portable spa enclosed in timber.
Jacuzzi : A frequently asked question is "What is the difference between a Spa
and a Jacuzzi" - Answer : "Jacuzzi is merely a brand name of Spa" - we use the
brand name "SCANDI". The term "Jacuzzi" is a name loosely used by the industry
and public to describe a Spa. (As one might refer to a vacuum cleaner and a
"Hoover").
SPA BATHS : Generally installed in a bathroom, where the bath doubles as a Spa.
Fill up the bath, enjoy, drain the water out again.
RIM FLOW SPAS: A system where the water in the spa permanently overflows into a
storage tank. The spa is thus always full. When somebody gets into the spa, the
displaced water overflows into the tank and is stored there until the person
gets out of the spa, whereupon the water is pumped back into the spa.
Construction : All units made are fabricated by use of a process called "Vacuum
Forming" where a sheet of Acrylic (Perspex / Plexiglas ) is heated and sucked
into a mould to form the shape of the spa. This gives you a durable, smooth
surface which is easy to clean and will not fade. This moulded acrylic sheet is
then laminated with Fibreglass resin and matting, to give the unit a good robust
body.
Spa's can be supplied in the following formats :
"FREE-STANDING"
"FULLY PORTABLE"
"BUILT-IN"
"IN-GROUND"
